About Me
Hi, I’m Dustin. I’m a marriage and family therapist based in Newport Beach and Tustin, and I specialize in helping adults and couples navigate the impact of trauma and relationship struggles.
I know how overwhelming it can feel to carry the weight of the past or the pain of disconnection in a relationship. My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where you don’t have to carry those burdens alone.
My Approach
I draw from EMDR therapy, psychodynamic insight, and relational approaches to help clients process painful experiences, heal from trauma, and find more freedom in the present. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes — it’s about deep, lasting change. I’ll walk with you at your pace, while gently helping you move toward growth and healing.
Specialties
Trauma Therapy: Supporting adults and teens in processing painful memories, reducing symptoms, and rebuilding resilience.
Couples Therapy: Helping partners rebuild trust after infidelity, repair communication, and rediscover intimacy.
Why I Do This Work
I became a therapist because I believe healing happens in relationship. When we’re truly seen and supported, new possibilities open up. I love helping clients experience those breakthroughs — when what once felt unbearable becomes something they can move through with strength and clarity.
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll often find me surfing, spending time with my family, or soaking in the ocean air. The ocean inspires much of my work: waves can feel overwhelming at times, but they also carry renewal, rhythm, and resilience — just like the healing process.
